Nottingham Road Landowners Association

Founded in 1887 as the Nottingham Road Farmers’ Association, the NRLA has grown from supporting local farmers to representing all landowners, residents, and businesses in Nottingham Road.

The association played a key role in building the town’s Community Hall in 1933, which remains a central hub for meetings, events, and the local library.

Today, under the motto “Community Through Unity,” the NRLA unites the community to protect shared interests, promote sustainable development, and preserve Nottingham Road’s agricultural heritage.

What the NRLA Does:

• Represents the community on local government, roads, water, environment, labour, and economic issues.

• Works with SAPS, the CPF, and security networks to improve safety.

• Promotes community projects and local heritage.
